Before you start

These tools are free for everyday use. Please only use files you have the right to use, and don’t use them to mislead, harass or harm anyone, for example by changing documents or IDs, or editing photos of people without their consent.

To keep things that way, images are checked on your device for explicit or violent content, and extracted text is checked for threats. The checks run in this tab, so nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Choose Merge to combine several PDFs, or Split to take pages out of one.
  2. Drop your files. To merge, drag the files into the order you want. To split, click the pages to keep or type page ranges.
  3. Download the finished PDF, or a ZIP when you split into several files.

Good to know

  • Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and quality does not change.
  • Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first.
  • Form fields and bookmarks from the original files may not carry over when merging.
  • Each PDF can be up to 100 MB, and you can merge up to 30 at once. Large files are slower on phones because everything happens in your device's memory.

Questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The PDFs are opened and rebuilt by your browser inside this tab. Nothing is sent anywhere, which also makes this safe for contracts, statements and IDs.

How do I split a PDF into separate pages?

Choose Split, drop the PDF, then use Every page as its own PDF. You get a ZIP with one file per page.

Can I extract several page ranges at once?

Yes. In Split, type ranges like 1-3, 7, 10-12 and choose One PDF per range to get each range as a separate file, or Extract into one PDF to combine them.

Is there a page or file limit?

Each PDF can be up to 100 MB, and you can merge up to 30 files at once. There is no page limit.
